He has improved in each of two runs on this track so far this campaign and has won two of four third-up runs in the past. He also steps up to a trip at which he is a two-time winner.

Settlers Road (Race 5) is clearly the one punters want and has firmed in to $2.50. She was one of three runners vying for favouritism when markets opened but is now the clear top pick after firming in almost two points. She hit the line well for second at this track last start and is a previous winner on the all weather surface.

Party Boy (Race 6) has been a long-priced go firming to $8 after opening at more than double that price. He hasn’t had much luck of late, being held up for a run last start and was also blocked when third at this track three runs back. His record at the mile is sound and the market suggests he is worth an each way play.
