Darren Weir-trained mare Quilista is now the winner of her past three races in succession. She again began quickly and immediately went to the front. Damian Lane then let her run along at a quick tempo, soon establishing a large lead. She turned for home still holding a big advantage and was not threatened in the straight to score impressively by almost two lengths. She is a talented and fast mare with Group One potential. Ravi raced back in third place, went to second (about four lengths back) at the 300m and kept fighting on well for second in really honest effort. Highly consistent mare White Moss was smartly away and raced in second place, chasing the free-running leader. She then kept fighting on gamely to hold third and a very promising first up performance.
