Peter and Paul Snowden-trained filly Moss Trip advanced quickly after winning a Benchmark 3YO (1550m) at Canterbury on 9 February to taking out this Group Three race two starts later. She settled back in third last place in the 13-horse field, switched deeper rounding the home turn, moved up quickly from the 200m and finished best to grab a last stride win. Team Hawkes-trained filly Dyslexic had a nice trip in fifth place on the rails from her good barrier (3), got through to third at the 200m, took a narrow lead at the 50m, only to be caught on the post to finish second in a smart effort at her fifth race start. Godolphin-raced filly Manicure shared the lead (racing on the inner), got to the front at the 300m and then held on well for third after being pressured in the midstages. The favourite So Far Sokool was a handy fourth but raced keenly before holding that position to the post, beaten just under two lengths while Frolic made late ground for (3.2 lengths) fifth.
