Racing at HQ this Saturday with Flemington playing host to a nine-race card. No feature racing but some decent betting opportunities, headlined by a well-placed mare in Race 6 who comes back from listed grade and looks ideally placed with 53kg.

Meanwhile, the best value comes up in Race 7 with a smart three-year-old down the Flemington straight who can go onto bigger and better things this time in. It's all thanks to tab.com.au so check out their markets for all of our tips at Flemington.

Race 1 - 11:50am RDA Peninsula Jenny Stidston Sprint (1200m)

Tricky with a few on debut. Pisces (1) comes down from Sydney with good form for this, a solid winner at Newcastle two back before a solid effort on speed at Randwick over this trip. Only has to bring that level to prove very hard to catch here. Grinzinger Pod (8) ran on well to score narrowly on debut at Bendigo. Looked smart there and can see the 'straight six' suiting her nicely. Jenni's Meadow (2) was okay over 1000m first-up at Sandown-Hillside and will strip fitter for the suitable rise in trip. Supernima (3) won on debut at Pakenham and will be better for it. Don't discount.

Tip: Backing Pisces at $3.60 & Grinzinger Pod at $10 with tab.com.au

Race 2 - 12:25pm RDA Horsham Jan Croser Plate (1400m)

Moor Mumm (9) is flying and looks hard to beat again. She won her first two over 1100m this campaign before running on strongly to just miss a smart mare in Niance over 1200m at this track. No issue out to 1400m now and she looks well in after the 3kg claim. Fancify (4) came over from SA and made an immediate impression, leading throughout to score in this grade at Caulfield. She'll take plenty of catching again. Our Red Morning (8) had excuses behind Fancify last time having caught the eye first up. Give her another chance. Brazen Lady (10) looks better suited back to 1400m here and can improve.

Tip: Backing Moor Mumm at $5.50 and Our Red Morning at $14 with tab.com.au

Race 3 - 1:00pm RDAV Mary Longden Mile (1600m)

Batoka Chief (12) looked smart winning well on debut at Pakenham over this trip, showing a strong turn of foot to win by 2.25 lengths. Takes on a few handy types here but gets in light at the weights and can measure up quickly. Craig (11) made his Australian debut at Bendigo and ran on powerfully to score by 4.5 lengths. Should eat up a mile now and be very hard to hold out again. Some People Callme (5) was good out to this trip at Sandown-Hillside and will be better for it. Can get into a good spot and prove hard to catch. The Shaper (3) worked home late last start over 1400m and looks to be crying out for this trip now.

Tip: Backing Batoka Chief at $4.40 and Craig at $4.20 with tab.com.au

Race 4 - 1:35pm RDAV Sally Francis Plate (2520m)

Berkshire Breeze (4) was good first up at Caulfield over 2000m and went right on with it at Cranbourne, powering away to score by 3 lengths at $1.30. He's even better suited rising to 2520m here from the soft draw and can go right on with the job here. Quantum Cat (3) is building nicely, handling the rise to 2400m at Randwick last start when charging late to just miss. Could land closer from the draw here and if that's the case he'll go close. Mirzann (7) was a bit disappointing last start over 2000m at Caulfield as favourite but had been coming along nicely prior. Up in trip now should suit and he can bounce back. The Genius (11) drops 6kg from last start and can figure.

Tip: Berkshire Breeze to win at $4.20 with tab.com.au

Race 5 - 2:10pm RDA Moorabbin Jane Baker Plate (2000m)

Steel Run (5) is the horse with upside who looks nicely placed here. He got the job done over 1600m at Caulfield Heath on debut before a strong second placing at Caulfield over this trip last time out. Draws wide here but with even luck early he can make the necessary improvement. Aztec State (1) beat Steel Run two back before an even effort last time where the first two cleared out. Can bounce back. Lady In Pink (2) ran on well to score by 1.5 lengths last start at Sandown-Hillside over 1600m. Up to 2000m the query but if she handle it she'll go close. Zambezi Khan (4) was good in the SA Fillies Classic last start but was behind Steel Run prior. Hydrogen Power (6) should relish the rise to 2000m now and can win.

Tip: Leaning to Steel Run at $5.00 with tab.com.au

Race 6 - 2:45pm RDA Daylesford Lesley Hewitt Trophy (2000m)

Silent Surrente (12) looks nicely placed in this. She's placed in all three runs this campaign, good over a mile in the G2 Queen Of The South Stakes two back before stretching the talented Sea What I See last time. She gets in with just 53kg here from an ideal draw and should go close. Political Debate (10) was just fair last time at Randwick when getting well back but the run prior in the Wagga Cup behind Fawkner Park reads very well for this. Can bounce back. Milford (1) was a surprise winner second up here over 1600m and should only improve again out to this trip. Aberfeldie Boy (9) resumes. He'll take improvement from this but looks well in at the weights.

Tip: Keen on Silent Surrente at $4.00 with tab.com.au

Race 7 - 3:20pm TAB / ATA Trainers' Trust Handicap (1100m)

Carbonados (6) resumes and can take this out. He made his Australian debut first-up last campaign with a strong win at Geelong. The market has a strong opinion of him, sending him out at $4 in the G3 Manfred Stakes the next start when pulling up lame. He's jumped out well and looks a solid chance at odds. Jambalaya (19) is another set to make the leap to this sort of grade. He won very softly on debut at Moonee Valley before two even efforts but has had three trials in Sydney and should take catching. Right To Party (12) ran on well first up in a very messy finish at G3 level in Adelaide. Will be hard to hold out. Steel City (1) was a very smart 2yo but didn't come up last preparation and was spelled again. She's good enough. Pivot City (3) will be thereabouts.

Tip: Backing Carbonados at $8.00 with tab.com.au

Race 8 - 4:00pm RDA Pakenham Trophy (1400m)

Elouyou (20) is a progressive type who has run second in both runs back from a spell behind a pair of smart types. The horse that beat him by a nose last time has won well again since. He looks nicely suited out to 1400m on the minimum weight. Le Ferrari (8) seems a bit underrated again. He beat a few of these in a bunched finish last start at Sandown-Hillside but maps ideally again here and must be included. Watadeel (13) was the eye catcher behind Le Ferrari, working home strongly when fresh. Drawn wide again here is the query but will be hard to hold out. Rheinberg (6) and Talbragar (10) were both close up behind Le Ferrari last time and must have claims.

Tip: Backing Elouyou at $3.80 and Le Ferrari at $11 with tab.com.au

Race 9 - 4:34pm RDA Oaklands Trophy (1200m)

Little Miss Kubi (11) is going well, beaten a nose by an in-form horse here two back before sprinting quickly to score over 1000m at Sandown-Hillside last time out. The query is 1200m but if Lane can hold her up as long as possible, she'll be flying late. Mars Mission (12) won well third up last time in and looks to be on track to peak again here. He drops nicely in the weights here and can win this. Losesomewinmore (17) is a progressive type with an impressive record. Won well here last time and can quickly measure up. Veloce Carro (14) beat a smart one first up here over 1100m. No issue at this trip but the inside draw could pose an issue. Legio Ten (9) was okay first up at Scone and will be hard to hold out here.

Tip: Backing Little Miss Kubi at $8 and Mars Mission at $9.50 with tab.com.au
