Another $50,000 on the line with bet365's Pick 6 Challange

Leading bookmaker bet365 are again putting $50,000 on the line for any logged-in member who correctly selects the winners of six specified races across the Ipswich, Flemington and Randwick cards this weekend. There are also consolation prize pools of $10,000 to be split amongst those who tip five winners and $5,000 for those who 'only' pick four.

The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Ipswich Race 7 - Ipswich Cup @ 3.17pm - 2150m

The $250,000 Listed Ipswich Cup. Luncies (1) wasn't disgraced when fifth in the Group 3 Lord Mayors Cup and should find this assignment a touch easier. Strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets Maloney on from the soft draw. Ticks plenty of boxes. Regal Lion (10) was too bad to be true last time out but is one from one over this course and distance and has placed at Group 1 level before. Worth forgiving. Brookhaven (14) gets in lightly at the weights and his best form would see him playing a major role in the outcome. Has to be included. Dune Forty Five (5) will be at peak fitness now and may trouble the judge from the low draw. King Frankel (4) next in line in a race with only a handful of chances.

Flemington Race 7 - VRC-CRV Trophy @ 3.25pm - 1420m

Elouyou (18) is becoming a bit costly but continues to race well, seemingly having the race won here last start in a similar race but just being overrun late. Don't mind the jockey switch to McNeil who rates them well and with a more aggressive ride he can get it done. General Firepower (16) is coming off a dominant win at Sandown-Lakeside when given an easy lead and scoring by 4.5 lengths. More depth here but must be a strong chance. Rheinberg (3) hasn't quite gone on with it this preparation but is racing well and rates well again. Georgie Get Mad (14) was a surprise winner over Elouyou last time and must have claims. Le Ferrari (5) next best.

Randwick Race 9 - Catanach's Jewellers Handicap @ 3.45pm - 1200m

Fleetwood (19) talented gelding undefeated in two runs this time in. Back in trip when picked them up effortlessly to score a 1.4 len victory over 1000m here on June 8. Will need a bit of luck from the sticky gate but desperate for the 1200m now. Looks hard to stop. King Of Naples (21) returned in good order after sitting on the speed with the 60kg when a gritty fourth over 1100m at Scone on May 18. Saves his best for this track and trip and looks one of the main players if he gains a start. With Your Blessing (12) solid effort first-up then had no luck from the outside gate when ninth in the LR June Stakes over 1100m on June 8. Drawn the inside gate today and sharp improvement is anticipated. Iowna Merc (3) loomed up strongly to win second-up before failing to go on with the job when a narrow second as favourite over 1100m in the LR June Stakes at this track. Will get back again from the wide gate and be ridden for luck.

Ipswich Race 8 - Imperial Racing Eye Liner Stakes @ 3.53pm - 1350m

The $200,000 Listed Eye Liner Stakes. Wategos (7) really comes into contention now with the scratching of Yellow Brick. Is two from two over this distance range and is drawn to get a perfect run in transit from the inside alley. Should be going very close. Group 2 winner Jigsaw (2) has been thereabouts in all four runs this preparation and looks to be nearing another victory. Sure to go well. Fancify (14) has won her past two in impressive fashion and you can't ignore mares in form. Definite top-three prospect. Blaze A Trail (3) resumes here but has a handy first-up record and may run a race while fresh. Lost In Transit (12) will be rock-hard fit for this and can trouble the judge.

Flemington Race 8 - Brian Beattie Handicap @ 4.00pm - 2000m

Most of the chances come through the same race. Steel Run (6) hit the line well here last start over this trip when too far back but still has plenty of upside and just his fourth start. Wide draw again here but perhaps they roll the dice and push forward. Lady In Pink (1) was strong at the rise to 2000m last time. Only goes up 1kg here and must be a strong chance for the double. Burlington Gate (11) was good in the same lead-up race here and can continue to improve. Zambezi Khan (4) was good in 4th last time and would relish a strong gallop. Aztec State (2) is another of the each-way chances in a very tricky race.

Randwick Race 10 - Precise Air Handicap @ 4.25pm - 1400m

Tough way to end the day. Ivan's Hero (10) returns from a 35-day let-up after being plagued by wet tracks. Comes out of a very strong race after finishing seventh to ELSON BOY over 1300m at Scone on May 18. Firmer deck helps and will prove hard to hold out over the 1400m from the low draw. Starman (5) finding it hard to break through this time in and will appreciate the services of Nash Rawiller today. Never comfortable in the heavy (9) going when a plugging third over 1400m here on June 8. Firmer track can see him go close. West Of Africa (13) big improver third-up when launched late with a narrow victory over 1300m at Warwick Farm in easier company on June 5. J Mac sticks and sure to be thereabouts again. Defining (12) meets West Of Africa better at the weights here after finishing a nose second at Warwick Farm at latest. Has a good record over the 1400m and looks solid each way value.
