Well-related son of Time For War to stand for $9,900
Group 2 winner Time To Reign (Time For War) will stand at Kingstar Farm for the 2021 season at an introductory fee of $9,900 (inc GST).
Trained by Gary Portelli, the son of Time For War (Snitzel) landed three of his ten career starts, headlined by a victory in the 2019 Silver Slipper Stakes (Gr 2, 1100m). He retired the winner of $436,300 in career prize-money.
Purchased by Darby Racing, De Burgh Equine and his trainer for $325,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in 2018, Time To Reign is out of dual-winning Charge Forward (Red Ransom) mare Courgette, making him a half-brother to 2017 Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner She Will Reign (Manhattan Rain), who also landed the AJ Moir Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) in the same year.
"As we did with Unite And Conquer last year, we've identified a colt with exceptional natural talent and plenty of early speed," said Kingstar Farm's manager Adam Cook.
"We work hard at Kingstar to structure these stallions at an affordable fee to provide a return for breeders, whether with a basic nomination or breeding rights.
"We've secured one of the best two-year-old's of his year, a Silver Slipper winner with a Golden Slipper pedigree and cannot wait to have breeders come and inspect him at Kingstar. You won't be disappointed."
Time To Reign will stand alongside Unite And Conquer (Hinchinbrook), who will stand his second season at stud for an unchanged fee of $6,600 (inc GST).
Meanwhile, Bull Point (Fastnet Rock) has had his fee slightly altered, having stood last season for $8,800 (inc GST), he will be offered to breeders this year for a fee of $6,600 (inc GST).
Kingstar’s roster is completed by Lord Of The Sky (Danerich), who will stand for a reduced fee of $3,300 (inc GST), having stood last season at a fee of $4,400 (inc GST).
