Dream Genie foals a filly at Willow Park Stud
One of the first Australian-bred foals by Coolmore Australia shuttler Calyx (Kingman) is a filly out of Dream Genie (Rip Van Winkle), who was born at Willow Park Stud.
“Dream Genie’s Calyx filly is outstanding, she has a real presence about her. She is a really good size with strength and a sprinters hip. I’m delighted with her,” said Jade Rossington, Willow Park Stud manager.
The filly is the second foal out of Dream Genie who is from the family of Group One winners Gee I Jane (Jahafil), Katie Lee (Pins) and Banchee (Oratorio).
Calyx is standing for a fee of $13,750 (inc GST) this year, for his second season in Australia.
