The Chris Waller-trained Haut Brion Her (Zoustar) has been retired from racing. The six-year-old daughter of Zoustar (Northern Meteor) has raced 13 times for six wins and four placings headed by the 2020 Sheraco Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) and the Blazer Stakes (Gr 2, 1400m) the year prior.

The Chris Waller Racing statement read: “She has been a very good horse to the stable winning six races from her 13 starts including the Group 2 Blazer Stakes and Group 2 Sheraco Stakes, as well as being narrowly beaten in the $1 million Winners and running a credible fifth in The Everest 2020.

“She has amassed almost $1.5 million in prize money for her ownership group consisting Mr Gary Johnson, Mr Steve Gardiner and Three Bridges Stud who have been fantastic to deal with throughout her career.

“She was a horse with a lot of talent and sadly we never got to see the best of her. Haut Brion Her has been a pleasure to train, she has a wonderful nature and being by Zoustar will make a lovely broodmare.”
