Well-related Sebring mare added to Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
Mac 'N' Cheese, a Stakes-winning half-sister to Exceedance, on Tuesday became a high-profile addition to this month's National Broodmare Sale.
Magic Millions announced that the daughter of Sebring, who will be offered as part of the Spendthrift Australia dispersal draft, was one of several new entries to the sale that runs from May 24-26 on the Gold Coast.
To be offered as a racing and breeding prospect, Mac 'N' Cheese is the only filly out of Thorn Park mare Bonnie Mac, who has also produced Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Exceedance and Group 2 Caulfield Sprint winner Oxley Road.
Mac 'N' Cheese, who has been trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy and counts a big group of MyRacehorse members as her owners, won the Listed Oaklands Plate (1400m) at two, added the Listed Clare Lindop Stakes (1600m) to her resume this resume before a third placing in the Group 3 Auraria Stakes (1800m).
She finished down the track at her most recent outing, in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks (2000m), and is likely to have a start in Queensland before the sale, which also includes four-time Group 1 winner Tofane, Coolmore Classic winner Lighthouse and multiple Group 1 runner-up Away Game.
Mac 'N' Cheese will be offered as part of the supplementary section, joined by Group 2 winner So You Assume (So You Think), She's All Class, a Stakes-winning daughter of I Am Invincible, Listed winner Hard Rock Girl (All Too Hard) and Shadow Hero's dam Sookie.
Untapped two-year-old Midnight In Tokyo, who last Saturday was runner-up in the Group 3 Ken Russell Memorial on the Gold Coast, will also be offered.
