Yearlings out of numerous Group 1 winners to be offered on the Gold Coast.
The first foals from former star racemares Sunlight and In Her Time, along with close relations to those multiple Group 1 winners, will be among the star attractions at next year's Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
They were unveiled as part of the 1273-lot catalogue that was released by Magic Millions on Tuesday afternoon.
Sunlight's yearling is a colt by Justify who will be offered by Coolmore on Day 2, while Yulong will present the colt out of In Her Time at the night session that follows Saturday's $10 million Magic Millions Raceday on January 14.
Loving Gaby (Pierata filly), Booker (I Am Invincible colt) and Viddora (Snitzel filly) are other Group 1-winning mares who will have their first progeny offered, while products of 18 other elite-level winners will also be offered.
Around an hour before In Her Time's colt is offered a Too Darn Hot half-sister to the Black Caviar Lightning winner will be sold by Corumbene Stud, while Widden is offering a sister to three-time Group 1 winner Sunlight, who is by Zoustar out of Solar Charged.
Siblings or half-siblings to Beauty Generation, Hartnell, King's Legacy, Lyre and Shoals are among the other lots to go under the hammer, along with yearlings by 26 first season stallions.
Among those represented are The Everest winner Yes Yes Yes, Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Exceedance and Darley shuttler Blue Point.
"Prospective buyers are in for a treat in January," Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said.
"This is a stunning catalogue of the finest youngsters presented by the best breeders from across Australia and New Zealand.
"We are proud of the catalogue that we've assembled - a range and selection that will be the finest offered in the Southern Hemisphere in 2023."
Selling will commence from midday on Tuesday, January 10 and continue Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, when the last of a record 979 Book 1 lots will be offered.
The first 100 lots in Book 2 will be sold from 2pm Sunday with an additional 293 Book 2 lots to be offered on Monday, January 16.
