Inglis Digital entry shows her form with top sprinter at Caulfield.
Keeping I Wish I Win up to the mark ahead of The Everest was the main objective of last Saturday's Caulfield track gallop but there was also some strategy behind Peter Moody's choice of galloping partner.
I Wish I Win worked with Boogie Dancer, who is one of the leading lots of the Inglis Digital September (Late) Sale, which is operating now.
The daughter of Sooboog won last year's Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude and started favourite in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas, in which she finished fourth, and while she has failed to rediscover that form as a four-year-old, Moody said she was in fine shape.
"It was actually a chance to showcase her to people and say, 'hey, she's not broken down, she goes to the sale in a very fit and healthy manner'," Moody said of the 800m gallop, in which she was beaten a neck by I Wish I Win.
"She's racing below her best without excuse, she's just shut down on us, so a change of environment might spark her up or a breeder might buy her and breed her straight away."
Boogie Dancer was the second top lot of the sale with a day remaining, having commanded a top bid of $200,000.
The only lot proving more popular is Monte Invincible, a four-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible out of Listen Here, which makes her a half-sister to Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win and former top sprinter-turned-sire Deep Field.
Monte Invincible had a top bid of $360,000 at 11.30am Tuesday.
Others proving popular were Group 2 winner Expat ($180,000) and Northern Afleet mare Hit A Provisional ($110,000), who is being sold in-foal to Russian Revolution.
The final countdown of bidding for the September (Late) Sale begins from 10am Wednesday.
