A Wednesday meeting in Sydney barely passes at this time of year without Chris Waller pulling the covers off a well-related debutant and this week Ti Amo Tanto is one of several who fit the bill.

The three-year-old filly is an acceptor for the $100,000 TAB Maiden Handicap (1250m) at Canterbury, in which Waller has seven acceptors in the field of 14 plus five emergencies.

Ti Amo Tanto is a daughter of Fastnet Rock and Zabeel mare Asavant, which makes her a sister to Avantage.

Avantage was a nine-time Group 1 winner and $2 million earner who sold for NZ$4.1m on Gavelhouse at the end of her racing career.

Ti Amo Tanto is the final foal from Asavant, who died soon after giving birth to her in the spring of 2021.

Avantage is easily the best-performed to date, while she has also produced Listed winner and Group 3 placegetter Asathought, along with Morrellmac and Mystic Mermaid, who were both multiple winners.

Ti Amo Tanto has trialled twice in preparation for the debut, the first a third placing over 900m at Rosehill on June 21 before a fifth placing, beaten only 1-3/4 lengths, over the same course last Tuesday.

Ti Amo Tanto is $4.40 favourite for Wednesday's event, in which she has drawn one of the wider gates but has the services of champion jockey James McDonald.

Waller has also accepted with her in a 1200m maiden at Newcastle on Thursday, where she has drawn barrier two, and she was among the nominations for a 1200m fillies and mares maiden at Kemlba Grange on Saturday.

Waller has several other well-related type in the TAB Maiden Handicap with I Am Immortal's sister Ikuma and Mia Ballerina, a sister to multiple Group 2 winner Dame Giselle, to also debut, while Stay With Me's son Duvana is set to resume.
