Listed winning son of Snitzel is being offered as a stallion prospect in this week’s catalogue.
Listed winner Sandbar (Snitzel) is being offered as Lot 69 as a stallion prospect on Bloodstockauction.com, with the sale running through to June 8.
Bought for $650,000 by Jadesky and BK Racing at the 2017 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, Sandbar went on to win four of his 21 career starts with his biggest victory coming in the Lonhro Plate (Listed, 1100m) as a juvenile in February 2018 and the Rosebud Handicap (Listed, 1100m) the following spring. He also finished second in the Roman Consul (Gr 2, 1200m).
Sandbar is one of three winners out of Group 3 winning mare Tallow (Street Cry) making him a half-brother to Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner Farnan (Not A Single Doubt) who will stand his first season at Kia Ora Stud this spring.
