Dual Grade 1 winner and young sire Code of Honor (Noble Mission) has died following a bout of colic. He was six.

The Lane's End Farm hombebred won seven of his 20 career starts earning just short of US$3 million in prize money with his Grade 1 victories coming in the Travers Stakes and Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes in 2019. He stood at stud for just one season in 2022.

"Code of Honor was such a special horse to both our family and the farm," said Lane's End's Bill Farish. "Winning the Travers with a homebred will stand as one of the greatest highlights in the farm's history. We are saddened by the loss of Code of Honor, who was just embarking on a promising career at stud."
