Champion Sea The Stars has covered 140 mares in his first season at the Aga Khan's Gilltown Stud in Ireland.
The exceptional six-time Group One inner stood his first season at €85,000.
The book covered by Sea The Stars compares to last year's highest-achieving new recruits to the European stallion ranks, Duke Of Marmalade and New Approach,
They covered 170 and 136 mares respectively in their first books.
Among the mares covered by the son of Cape Cross were Japanese champion Vodka and G1 winners Alpine Rose, Finsceal Beo, Lookhere, Lush Lashes, Speciosa and the Aga Khan's outstanding Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Zarkava.
Zarkava's dam, Zarkasha, as well as Asmara, the dam of the G1 winner and promising second-season sire Azamour, were also among his first book.
Stud manager Pat Downes said Zarkava is "well in-foal" to Sea The Stars and that her first foal, a filly by Gilltown Stud resident Dalakhani, had been sent to the Aga Khan's stud in France.
