Dewhurst Stakes winner Teofilo has been installed favourite to win the 2011 European first-season sire premiership by winners.
The outstanding son of Galileo from the Danehill mare Speirbhean was unbeaten in six starts as a 2YO in 2006 for Irish trainer Jim Bolger, ending with his win in the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket defeating Holy Roman Emperor.
Teofilo has shuttled to Australia for the past two seasons.
UK bookmakers have Amadeus Wolf second favourite to produce the most first season winners while Coolmore stallions Dylan Thomas, Excellent Art and Dutch Art are others under double figures.
The juvenile season starts in France on March 15 with the running of the Prix de la Marche at Saint-Cloud.
The traditional opener in England is the Brocklesbury Stakes at Doncaster on April 2.
Iffraaj set the European freshman record with 38 individual winners in 2010. Previous sires to win the title have included Dubawi (34) in 2009, Kheleyf (30) in 2008, Captain Rio (32) in 2007 and Invincible Spirit (35) in 2006.
