The new office will be known as Secret Hill Asia, and service the whole of Asia, under the guidance of Angela Plumb, who has the right credentials for the position. After graduating from Emaar International college in Singapore, she has been based in China since 2009 where she is completing an international business degree at Qingdao University. She also speaks Mandarin, which was an important part in the decision to appoint her to this exciting role.
Secret Hill Asia will focus on developing new relationships and introducing Asian buyers, to the horses available from the Beaudesert based property. Buying groups will be regularly introduced to all horses available for sale, and a targeted marketing campaign is about to be launched. The new office was launched earlier this month with guests from China's horse community joining the celebrations, along with others who flew from Hong Kong for the event.
Racing handicapper, Mr Tommy Xu officially welcomed Angela Plumb and said “the decision by Secret Hill Asia to choose China as their Asian base is welcomed by horse owners and breeders, and is the beginning of long term co-operation between both countries in a new industry”.
