Numerous Australian winners have been sourced from this sale in recent years. Chris Waller’s Australian G1 winner Foreteller is one of 10 G1 winners to come out of the sale since 2010.

The sale runs from October 28 to 31 with the catalogue of 1516 lots featuring 116 lots with a BHA rating of 95 or more, 284 rated 85 or higher and more than 70 Group and Listed performers.

Leading owner/breeders have entered significant consignments including Ballydoyle Stables, Darley, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates.

Entries come from 24 of the current top 25 British Flat trainers including Richard Hannon, Mark Johnston, Richard Fahey, John Gosden, Sir Michael Stoute, William Haggas, Kevin Ryan, Andrew Balding, Charlie Hills, Lady Cecil and David O'Meara as well as leading Irish trainers Aidan O'Brien, Jim Bolger, Dermot Weld, David Wachman, Michael Halford, Ger Lyons, John Oxx, Johnny Murtagh, Tommy Stack, Andy Oliver and Jessica Harrington.

French and German trained horses add a further international element to the catalogue.

The largest consignment, numbering 83 lots, comes from Richard Hannon's all-conquering East Everleigh Stables.

The Hannon entries include dual G3 winning two-year-old Brown Sugar who is the second highest rated two-year-old in the catalogue with an official BHA rating of 111.

The current top-rated two-year-old on a mark of 112 is the Mick Channon-trained Jallota, who was fourth in the G1 Prix Morny followed by a second in the Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy.

Other top two-year-olds catalogued include Group and Listed winners Green Door, Extortionist and Hot Streak.

Smart French-bred stayer Tac De Boistron, who raced in Australia last year and is now trained in Newmarket by Marco Botti, is the highest rated horse in the catalogue with an official BHA rating of 113.

Last year's G1 Irish St Leger winner Royal Diamond, who has won or placed in four Group races this year for trainer Johnny Murtagh, is also entered off a current rating of 112.
