Bright Stallion Prospect For NZ

3 minute read

The Aga Khan's Anabaa Group winner Dalghar will go to stud in New Zealand this year.

Brighthill Farm has secured a shuttle deal that will see him stand in NZ for at least four years.

Dalghar is a son of the late Anabaa (Danzig) from Daltawa (Miswaki), the dam of five winners including the champions and multiple Group One winners Daylami (Doyoun) and Dalakhani (Darshaan).

He was purchased by Perth-based international breeder Neven Botica from The Aga Khan at the end of his four-year-old season after four wins and seven placings from 18 starts including in the G3 Prix du Palais-Royal.

He began his stud career at Haras de Saint Arnoult in France where he is currently serving his first book of mares.

Dalghar will stand with Perfectly Ready (More Than Ready) and Patapan (Stravinsky) at Brighthill Farm.
