Young sire Tavistock has risen to the top of New Zealand stallion premiership for individual winners with just three crops racing.
Tavistock went to stud in 2010 and now heads the premiership winners list over established sires Pins, Savabeel and Darci Brahma.
Tavistock has sired 34 individual winners so far this season in NZ alone. Collectively this group of horses have won 41 races.The list of successful offspring for Tavistock includes the unbeaten G2 winner Hasselhoof, who has won six races straight, and the emerging G3 winner Tavago.
Tavistock has 50 yearlings on offer at the upcoming New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sale at Karaka with 17 in the Premier Sale, 32 at Select and 1 at Festival.His first crop runner Hasselhoof (ex Alpine, by Zabeel) won the G2 Rich Hill Mile at Ellerslie at his last start and is now set for a hit and run mission in Sydney.
