Armageddon On It (Race 5) is offering good each way value at $5 after firming three points since markets opened. He has failed to win in 29 starts but has run top five at his last 14 starts and the punters are suggesting he can at least run into the placings again today.

Valiant Warrior (Race 6) is in to second favouritism at $4 after firming several points in early trading. The Victorian trained gelding is first up from a spell but has had two barrier trial in his home state and has won two of three fresh runs.

Miss Gidget (Race 7) is one of a few of these to have been supported but hers has been the best go and she is a clear cut favourite at $2.80. She was midfield when resuming at Caulfield but makes a significant drop in grade and gets the 2kg claim to help offset the big weight.
