Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Tuesday’s meeting at Moe.

Tuscarora (Race 1) is second pick in the market and has been well supported, fifirming 80 cents to $4. He is the only one of these to have raced so has the experience edge and hasn’t been beaten far at his last two outings.

Obrigato (Race 3) has taken over as favourite at $2.40 having shortened more than three points on her opening price. She only beat one home on debut but the weight of money suggests she has come on plenty for that run.

Ella Violet (Race 6) is a warm favourite at $2.45, having shortened a half point since markets opened. She ran an improved race for third at Pakenham last start and should be ready to peak third up with the benefit of the inside draw.

Beltum (Race 8) opened as a narrow favourite but now stands clearly alone at the top of the market at $2.25, a point and a half shorter than his initial price. He deserves a win after running top four at four of his last five runs and was only a length away at a similar trip last time.
