Singled Out has found herself in a very winnable race when she lines up in the Benchmark 55 Handicap (1400m) at Canberra today.
The Six-year-old mare has returned well this campaign and was beaten under a length when fifth over this C/D last time out.
The Barbara Joseph and Paul Jones-trained runner has not been beaten further than 1.5L from her three runs this campaign and she rates well clear of her rivals today on recent form.
Singled Out should find a fairly handy spot off the speed from barrier 6 with Rachael Hunt on board and if she runs up to her recent efforts she will prove very hard to beat.
Frankenbeans shapes up as the main danger having made his way into the placings his last two outings.
Only narrowly beaten when third over 1200m at this course two back and was good again up in grade at Newcastle last start when running on well for another third placing.
Should appreciate the step up to the 1400m today where he has won previously on two occasions and certainly stays under strong notice.
Kiss In The Dark only battled on when returning at Moruya last start but she will appreciate the step up in trip today.
Looking for more ground than what is on offer today but she has won over the 1400m trip previously and she tends to show good improvement second up.
Might find herself in an awkward spot from the inside draw but will be getting to the line strongly and is worth keeping safe.
Mr Fox rounds out the main chances on the back of some mixed form recently.
Battled on well enough over this C/D his last two outings and should get the run of the race from barrier 3 but will need to show improvement to be beating Singled Out.
