Racing and Sports finds the best-backed runners in early betting on Monday’s meeting at Dubbo.

Talk Of The Town (Race 1) could be worth an each way ticket at $6 having firmed a full 10 points. The filly ran a better race at this course and distance last start and the market move must be respected.

The Main Man (Race 2) is in to joint favouritism at $4 having shortened more than a point. He was fourth last start after a very close second when resuming and could be peaking third up.

Oh Oh Sun (Race 5) is in another being given an each way chance at $5, which is three-and-a-half points shorter than his opening quote. He made ground at this course and distance last start and is drawn to get a good run in transit.

Ghibli (Race 6) is a well-supported favourite at $2.90, a full point shorter than his initial price. He was a beaten favourite last start but the punters are being forgiving having won well at this course and distance at his previous run.

Ori On Fire (Race 8) stands well clear at the head of the market at $2.35, a tighten of 80 cents since betting commenced. The lightly-raced gelding was far from disgraced at the Scone carnival last start and his previous form was encouraging.
