The Winx Guineas is a Group 3 race for three-year-olds conducted by Queensland's Sunshine Coast Turf Club at Corbould Park racecourse at Caloundra.

It was formally known as the Sunshine Coast Guineas until 2020 when it was renamed to honour the great mare as that was the first race that she won to begin her incredible 33 straight until the end of her career.

The Sunshine Coast Guineas was first run in 2000 and was a Listed Race from its inception until an upgrade to Group 3 in 2014.

The Sunshine Coast Guineas had been run under set weight conditions over 1600m since 2000 with the exception of 2005 when the distance was reduced to 1560m.

The 2024 Winx Guineas will be run over 1600m for prizemoney of $300,000.

The Sunshine Coast/Winx Guineas had grown in stature as a feature of the Caloundra Cup meeting and is now best known as the race won by champion mare Winx in 2015 at the start of her sequence of amazing successive wins.

2018 winner The Bostonian would come back to Queensland twelve months later to win the Doomben 10,000 and the Kingsford-Smith Cup.

The race was delayed by a week in 2021 after rain washed out the first attempt. The exact same thing occurred in 2024.

Other notable winners of the Sunshine Coast/Winx Guineas include Atapi, Diamondsondinside, Shenzhou Steeds, Eximius, Hopfgarten, Crack Me Up and Our Playboy.

The 2024 Winx Guineas was won by Xidaki from Miss Aria and Know Thyself.
