The progressive three-year-old, prepared by Peter Snowden, has started only twice but was a strong winner last time and is expected to measure up to this tougher race over 1300m.

The gelding, a son of Elusive Quality from the Group 1 winner mare Regal Cheer, made his debut over 1200m at Hawkesbury and after settling second and turning there he battled into fifth and well beaten.

His rider Johj Parr thought he was shaky in his action so stopped riding him over the final stages.

Snowden gave him almost a month off before starting again over 1200m at Kembla Grange.

This time, he took up the running and was there to the turn before angling out wider in the long run home.

Very green and running about, he was still too good to score a 1.5 length win.

Today he comes to town and meets a tougher class but the gelding is expected to be much improved on the two runs.

Leading rider and stable jockey Kerrin McEvoy goes aboard and he has drawn well and suited by the longer journey.

Parquetry He should be camped just off the lead here and with progression from his last run can measure up here.

The Grant Allard trained Style is resuming but rates highly and is expected to go well fresh.

The filly made her debut in a big field at Gosford late last year and despite the outside gate she crossed over to lead and kept going for an impressive 3.5 length win.

It was no surprise Allard went straight to town with her on that win and she lined up at Canterbury over 1200m.

There she was tightened at the start and settled well back, before covering ground out wide and circling the field before coming on into sixth.

The run wasn't bad under the circumstances when beaten 3.3 lengths behind Sea Siren in an excellent form race.

She resumes here onm the back of a placing in an 800m trial at Newcastle and on her only fresh up run will take catching here.

The Guy Walter trained Contemplation is aiming for a hat trick of wins here after leading throughout at her last two in the country.

The filly scored her maiden win over 1300m at Goulburn, leading throughout to score by over three lengths.

She then skipped a grade to a Class 2 there and led throughout again, this time fighting on strongly to score a head win.

She faces a tougher grade here but drops in weight after the claim and has drawn ideally in barrier one to take up the running.

This is tougher but she will give a big sight.

Senta D'Amor is resuming and although likely to want further rates well.

The Chris Waller trained gelding, a 1400m Kembla winner fresh up last campaign, was placed to 1500m in town and tested to a mile last campaign.

He has a big weight and wide gate here but did win fresh up last time in and will be motoring home here.
