HONG KONG: Sha Tin Finale For Stud Bound Musir

3 minute read

Australian-bound stallion Musir is set to end his racing career in Hong Kong on May 6.

The Australian-bred son of Redoute's Choice, to stand at Coolmore Australia this spring, is being prepared for the $HK12 million Hong Kong Champions Mile at Sha Tin by trainer Mike De Kock.

Musir will travel to Hong Kong with stablemate Viscount Nelson,, a starter in the $HK14 million QE II Cup on April 29.

Viscount Nelson was second in the Godolphin Mile on Dubai World Cup night.

Meanwhile Collection has been added to the invitation list for the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup following the withdrawals of Ambitious Dragon and Same World.

The Derek Cruz-trained seven-year-old, winner of the 2009 HKG1 Mercedes-Benz HK Derby and 2010 HKG1 Citibank HK Gold Cup, steps up after returning earlier this year from a 14-month spell on the sidelines.
