Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Fillies only in this maiden. (3) DANGCHAN NANGBO has finally looked like she is figuring things out with a 2nd and a 3rd from her latest two, both at this distance. She likes to come off the pace and finish strong so from a good draw, Kim Cheol-ho can pick his spot and she can get it right at the fifteenth time of asking. (1) I'M THE BEST did nothing on debut in March but after going back to trial has since run 3rd twice at 1200M. Having finished off those two races well, the slight step up in trip can suit and she is a big chance. (7) BEATRIZ has two 3rd places and a 4th from her latest three and has the benefit of a 4kg claim here which should make her competitive. (2) ULTRA HIT and (9) JERAQUEEN among others in the frame.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1700M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(1) AMAZING ROCK will be hard to go past here. Since running 6th on debut, she has two 4th places and a 3rd up to 1300M and finishing off well. The step up to two turns should suit and Moon Se-young climbing back up suggests today is the day. (8) TAENGGEURI is probably the most dangerous rival. He is the only one n the field who has a 2nd place to his name. That was all the way back on Christmas Day, but it was at this distance, and he should have the beating of most of these. (7) YONGGINAEYO GEUDAE enters off a much-improved 3rd place last time out at this distance and can continue to make progress here. (3) MARUBYEOL and (5) GOLD CHARM are other placing chances.

Seoul Race 3: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) GANA POWER has been working back towards another win with a 3rd and a 2nd from his latest two at this distance and at 1300M. He draws well to be on pace again, he has the fastest time among these for the distance, Harry stays on, and he is the one to beat. (7) DIANA got her maiden win at this distance in March and has since got two 3rd places and a 5th in three starts at this level. She once again benefits from an apprentice claim, and she should be close here. (3) MO CHUISLE got her maiden win last time out over this distance and while up in class, she is down significantly in the weights and can measure up in this company. (11) GHOST DRAGON and (2) YONGBI QUEEN are others to consider.

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1700M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(4) CHANGJOUI GIDUNG enters off a best to date of 2nd place when stepped up to this distance on May 26th and racing for the first time on pace. Expect similar tactics today and he can go one better. The danger is (7) SMILE GOLD. She too comes in off a career to date best in 2nd place on June 9th when she raced close to the lead throughout. Coming up to the 1700M for the first time, she could be another winner for the bang in form Riccardi stable. (9) COSMO KING has plenty of experience at this distance with his two placings coming over it.  Any top three finish will earn him a rating and he could exit the lowest level of racing with a win. The form drops off after those three but (1) OPUS PURPLE and (5) GANGCHEOL POWER could challenge for places.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here and (4) BRIGHT WINNER will be the hot favourite. She has seven top-four finishes from her twelve starts and has a 2nd place at this class and distance. Against this limited set of opponents, she can settle behind the leaders and should prove too strong at the business end of the race. (8) MENI CHARM comes in off a fair 4th place at class and distance on June 1st. She has the fastest time of any of these for the distance and that's enough to put her in the mix here. (5) EUNSEONG NOEUL has back-to-back 5th places from her latest two and won't need to find much from those to go closer today. (2) GROW and (1) EXCELLENT MATTA the best of a limited rest at this level.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(2) CHOEGANG TIME returned from five months out to get his maiden win over 1200M on June 2nd when leading very step of the way. He comes up in class and marginally in distance, but the same apprentice jockey keeps his weight very light and from a great draw, he should be on pace and can go all the way again. (3) RAON THE CLIPPER is yet to win but he has three runner-up finishes to his name, including one at this class. He'll need a line drawn through his latest when slowly away and never a factor but can be given another chance here. Similarly (7) HAEJE YEOGEOL disappointed last time out when relatively well fancied and going on her 2nd place at this class over 1200M two starts back, she can also get another chance. (10) ZELOS and (8) SAENAE VIVA others who can place at their best.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(7) RAON THE TAP returned to winning ways in fine style over 1300M on April 21st, leading all the way and stopping the clock in a quick time. He comes up in class here after ten weeks off, but he is down 3kg in the weights, Moon Se-young stays on, and he can lead all the way again. It took (2) GEOLJAK EUTTEUM eight goes to get his maiden win, but he evidently enjoyed it as he then promptly followed up on May 25th. Both of those came at class 5 and at 1200M so he is up in class here and while he hasn't gone well at 1400M in two prior attempts, the weight drop, and good draw mean he should be competitive. (8) JEONGSEONGTIGER is also up in class. She has five top-three finishes from seven starts so far and while she also steps up to this trip for the first time, she may well measure up. (10) MIR POINT and (4) HAKSAN MACHO others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Competitive race. It took him a couple of goes to work things out, but (5) SHADOW HUNTER has won his latest two to rapidly come up two class levels. They were both at this distance, he comes down in the weights, draws well, and he can complete his hat-trick here. (3) JUMONG CHEONHA has plenty of experience at this level and has run good times at this distance. With an apprentice claiming 4kg, he gets a big weight drop and from a good gate, he can get an easy run to the front, and he can be in this a long way. (2) RAON TAP PLAY comes in off a smart 2nd place over 1300M last time out and steps up to this distance for the first time with clams to go well again. (8) SLAM DRAGON and (9) GIANT M are others to consider.

Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

After running 2nd on debut, (1) CROWN HAMSEONG has proceeded to win three in a row to get promoted to class 3 in double-quick time. Her latest win came over this distance on April 14th when, as in her other victories, she made all, and coming in fresh two months later and from a good gate and Moon Se-young up, he can win again. (5) YEONGWON FIGHTER is a winner of three from seven and comes in off a smart 3rd place in a quick race over 1200M on May 25th. He tackles the 1400M for the first time and he can be a danger. (2) ACHIM DONGJA has plenty of experience at this class and comes back to a distance at which he has won once and placed on four occasions form five tries at it. From a good gate, he can maintain that record. (8) HUNTER BLADE and (7) GEOLJAK ONE, the latter having been a Listed winner as a juvenile and coming out of an also-ran finish in the Korean Derby but back in shallower waters today, are others to take note of.

Seoul Race 10: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(7) NARAOLA has proven adept at this distance with a 3rd and a win in two tries at it. That win was last time out on May 26th when racing handy throughout and while he is up in class here, he is slightly down in the weights, Moon Se-young gets on, and there is plenty to like. (1) SPECIAL HILL is a winner of two from six and was a good 3rd over a mile on his first try at this class on June 1st. He has won over today's trip and from the inside gate can be on pace or handy and can be a big threat. (11) MADISON MOUNTAIN enters with recent form reading consistently and was most recently 3rd at this class over 1800M. The wide draw shouldn't e a problem and she can be doing her best work late. (3) EAST WEST and (6) GOMANARU others to look out for.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (2000M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(2) NEULGAEUL comes in having run 2nd in the Listed Sports Chosun Trophy (essentially class 2 race at level weights) over this distance beating most of these in the process. Ultra consistent, he loves to come from off the pace, and he will be favourite here. (1) BLACK BELT has never finished worse than 5th and comes in following a strong win over 1800M on June 9th. He is up in class and in distance today, but neither should be problem, and with a weight drop, he can be a danger. (6) FIRE POWER ran 3rd in the Sports Chosun, continuing a run of consistent form and can be close again. (4) DRAGON STAR and (8) LUXURY CAPTAIN among others in a small but competitive field comprised of generally in-form horses.
