The four-year-old has been a flagship performer from Pukekohe trainer Richard Collett’s Warwick Farm satellite stable with three wins and a last-start second in the Listed Bright Shadow Handicap at Doomben.

“She just went up there for that race and she won’t be chasing anything else - she’s gone to the paddock now,” he said.

“She’s a good mare and she’s been racing well. She’s only lightly-raced and hopefully we can get some more black type with her in the spring.”

A winner at two and three in New Zealand, Untamed Diamond won consecutive races at Randwick and Rosehill before she sat three wide at Doomben before going under by a head.

Meanwhile, Collett is looking forward to the Hawkesbury meeting tomorrow with two strong maiden chances.

Just Shine was placed in a handful of starts for Cambridge trainers Tim and Margaret Carter as Shine On and the Mastercraftsman four-year-old was third in his first appearance at Kembla Grange for Collett.

“He looks to be quite a nice staying type of horse,” he said.

Just Shine will step out over 2000 metres while the stable will also be represented by Once Were Warriors, a Sebring four-year-old, and they will both be ridden by Collett’s son Jason.

“Once Were Warriors was purchased on the recommendation of Jason,” he said.

Formerly prepared by David Vandyke, Once Were Warriors has finished in the money in all three of his starts and he will resume over 1000 metres following a lengthy break.
