Banimpire ground out another win in the Group Two Keeneland Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh.
Jim Bolger's tough and consistent filly landed a fifth Group race of the season and a second at this level with another gritty performance.
Held-up in rear in a steadily run ten furlong contest, Kevin Manning began to wind up his mount with half a mile to run and the pair made up the ground relatively easily on the outside of the pack to take up the running approaching the furlong pole.
Dunboyne Express emerged to give chase but Kevin Prendergast's colt, who has found his form after a disappointing start to the season, never really looked like reeling in the filly who was dropping back in trip from a mile-and-a-half.
Bolger said: "Banimpire will go for the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp next, and there's a big possibility she will stay in training next year."
