High-class mare Wild Coco has been retired and will visit her former stablemate Frankel at stud next year.

Twice a Group winner for owners Gestut Rottgen last year, the daughter of Shirocco changed hands at the Tattersalls December Sale for 985,000 guineas when bought by KI Farm in Japan, but she was kept with the late Sir Henry Cecil.
Due to the quick conditions in the summer, Wild Coco was to make only one appearance in Britain this season, registering back-to-back victories in the Lillie Langtry Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
Her final start was in the Prix Vermeille at Longchamp, where she put up a bold fight against Treve before being worn down by the leading Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe contender in the closing stages, finishing second.
Although she still had an entry in the Qipco British Champions Fillies' And Mares' Stakes, Wild Coco retires having amassed over £200,000 in prize-money.
"Wild Coco has been retired after a very successful career in which she won four Pattern races. She was a high-class filly and we will miss her around Warren Place," trainer Lady Cecil told www.sirhenrycecil.com
"But she has an exciting future ahead of her as a broodmare, starting with an appointment with Frankel next year."
