Bryan Cooper landed a double at Navan when Wounded Warrior ran out a commanding winner of the Drogheda Beginners Chase.
Already a winner on Clarcam for owners Gigginstown House Stud, Cooper was happy to sit behind the pace set by Empire Of Dirt on Noel Meade's charge.
Wounded Warrior joined Blood Cotil in front after the third last and he soon got the measure of that rival, the 11/10 favourite striding on to score by six and a half lengths.
Meade told At The Races: "He's a huge, big, sort of backwards baby of a horse.
"Two runs ago the ground was too quick for him, then the last day he didn't jump quite so well, he fluffed his lines a little bit, so we've schooled him plenty to get his jumping a bit slicker.
"This two and a half miles is his minimum trip, he really wants three miles. I'd like to think he can run in some good races in future."
