Anglophile went clear under Martin Lane in the straight to gain an impressive victory in the 32Red Conditions Stakes over just short of two miles on Polytrack at Lingfield Park on Wednesday afternoon.
The Charlie Appleby-trained four-year-old, owned by Godolphin and returned the 2/1 second favourite, is now guaranteed a place in the £150,000 32Red Casino All-Weather Marathon over the course and distance on All-Weather Championships Finals Day, Good Friday, April 3.
Travelling well throughout when disputing third, Anglophile took the lead turning into the straight and stayed strongly to score by four and a half lengths from Uramazin (Philip Hide/Liam Keniry - 16/1) in second, with a further three lengths back to Castilo Del Diablo (David Simcock/Adam Kirby -11/4) in third. The winning time was 3m 19.70s. The 7/4 favourite Dashing Star (David Elsworth/Martin Harley), who made much of the running, finished fifth of the six runners.
Lane commented: "It was very straightforward for Anglophile. He travelled well - which he was always going to do stepping up in trip - and picked up really well when I gave him a squeeze up the straight. You could not fault the performance at all.
"Dashing Star has set a strong gallop and when he dropped away George (Baker, rider of Triumphant) kept it going. It was an end-to-end gallop and Anglophile has stayed really well.
"He has been lightly raced and we have seen the best of him this winter. I don't think it is the All-Weather that has made a difference, I just think he has taken a bit of time to mature and is growing up.
"This summer or even next summer, he could be a top-class stayer."
Anglophile's victory provided Godolphin with a seventh Fast-Track Qualifier success so far during the All-Weather Championships and the second in the Marathon category after Hidden Gold's success at Wolverhampton in December.
Horses qualify for the seven championship contests on the £1.1-million All-Weather Championships Finals Day (Good Friday, April 3, 2015) by winning a specified "Fast Track Qualifier" or running in a minimum of three races at Britain's five All-Weather tracks, Lingfield Park, Southwell and Wolverhampton, owned by ARC, The Jockey Club's Kempton Park and Chelmsford City, between October 30 and March 30.
Alternatively, one of the three qualifying runs can come at Dubai's Meydan Racecourse (dirt) or on the All-Weather surfaces at Ireland's Dundalk and the French tracks of Cagnes Sur Mer, Chantilly and Deauville.
