Michael O'Callaghan's filly impressed when winning a Group Three at Leopardstown in the spring before finishing third in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

She arguably raised her game to finish fourth in last week's Coronation Stakes and O'Callaghan feels there is plenty to look forward to, with September's Matron Stakes identified as her next target.

"Now Or Never ran well in Ascot and came back home safe and sound," said the trainer.

"The ground was a little bit too soft for her and she wasn't really suited by the way the race was run, but we were happy with her.

"She'll get a small break now before we bring her back and get her ready for the Matron on Irish Champions Weekend."

O'Callaghan's only other runner at the Royal meeting was Blue De Vega, who was a shade disappointing in the Tercentenary Stakes having previously placed third in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.

"The ground was just far too soft for him - he couldn't handle it at all," O'Callaghan added.

"He's fine and he'll have a small break as well."
