Queen Mother Champion Chase hero Special Tiara is likely to start the new campaign back at Cheltenham in the Shloer Chase next month.
The 10-year-old was third to Fox Norton in the Grade Two at Prestbury Park last November and trainer Henry de Bromhead reports his stable star to be in A1 condition ahead of a return to the track.
Special Tiara came off second best behind Altior when the pair met at Sandown in April.
"He is great. There is not a bother on him and he is in mighty form," said De Bromhead.
"He will probably go for the Shloer and that is the plan at the moment. That is the most likely place to go then possibly back to Kempton at Christmas.
"He is super. He went to the Shloer last year and he seems to like travelling. He is great and I am delighted with him."
