Last year's Queen Mary winner Dramatised (4/1f) became the first 3-year-old to win the Temple Stakes since 2014. Having capped off last season with a second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint across the Atlantic at Keeneland, she was set to make her seasonal reappearance today in what was a competitive renewal of the Temple Stakes.

Having broken out of the stalls well, Buick kept Dramatised down the stand-side of the track where she chased the leading duo of Live In The Dream (7/1) and The Platinum Queen (11/2). With half a furlong to go, Dramatised had her head in front, then powered clear from rivals to score in impressive style.

Speaking to ITV Racing after the race, Jockey William Buick said: "She was so professional, even at the start.

"She was top class last year, and she looks like she'll carry on that way this year".

Trainer Karl Burke confirmed after the race her next step will be the King Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot next month and was full of praise for his superstar sprinters performance today.

Following on from her success, most bookmakers have shortened Dramatised from 14/1 in to 7/1 for the King Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Going forward, wherever she lines up next, this three-year-old daughter of Showcasing will be there with every chance, firmly marking herself in this Haydock race as a leading sprinter for the season.
