The BHA confirmed that conditional jockey Dylan Kitts had been after failing to comply with an investigation into his ride on Hillsin in July last year.

A disciplinary officer exclusion order is issued "in instances where a person's presence on premises licensed by the BHA, or association with racing's participants, is undesirable in the interests of racing based on their conduct".

The BHA statement read: "The BHA can today confirm that Mr Dylan Kitts has been issued with a disciplinary officer exclusion order as a result of his failure to cooperate with an investigation. This order, which prohibits Mr Kitts from attending premises licensed by the BHA and/or associating with racing's participants, has been issued after Mr Kitts failed to provide relevant information requested by the BHA's integrity team as part of an ongoing investigation.

"This investigation remains ongoing and the BHA will be making no further comment at this time."

Hillsin was making his debut for the Chris Honour yard in a 2m4f conditional jockeys' handicap hurdle at Worcester back in July last year. The five-year-old, who was seemingly "tenderly handled" by jockey Dylan Kitts after jumping the second-last in contention, finished a length and a quarter behind the winner Bensini back in third that day.

The Chris Honour-trained gelding was a general 15/8 favourite for the majority of the day having opened up 7/1 with most firms the previous night. However, a late drift before the off saw Hillsin return an 11/1 chance.

Hillsin was suspended from racing for 40 days by the BHA with Kitts referred to the BHA by the stewards for investigation.

Dylan Kitts was previously attached to the Warren Greatrex yard but does not currently hold a license.
