The Aidan O'Brien-trained champion juvenile took his record to a perfect three from three with a sparkling performance in last season's Dewhurst Stakes and has virtually been odds-on for the first British Classic of the campaign ever since.

The sensational son of Justify will be the sole representative for trainer Aidan O'Brien and owners Coolmore, with Henry Longfellow, River Tiber and Diego Velazquez all removed from the race at declaration stage.

As was the case on his three starts as a juvenile, City Of Troy will be partnered by Ryan Moore who bids to land the prestigious prize for the first time since steering Churchill to victory back in 2017 for Ballydoyle and Coolmore.

Richard Hannon's 2000 Guineas armoury grew when Haatem powered to success in the Craven Stakes a few weeks ago and he will line up alongside Rosallion, who makes his eagerly-awaited return to action having impressed when a runaway winner of the Group 1 Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp in October. Sean Levey will partner the latter, with James Doyle picking up the ride on the former.

Night Raider had the clock-watchers purring when making an emphatic winning debut at Southwell and he will attempt to make a winning start on turf on what could prove a big weekend for Middleham trainer Karl Burke, who also looks set to saddle 1000 Guineas favourite Fallen Angel on Sunday.

Task Force will represent last year's winning connections Juddmonte, while Group 2 Royal Lodge scorer Ghostwriter will put his unbeaten record on the line alongside Charlie Appleby's impressive Kempton winner Notable Speech.

Alyanaabi, Iberian, Inisherin and Ten Bob Tony complete the classy field of eleven.
