Mill Reef at Newbury Saturday

3 minute read

This popular outing for the 2yos has attracted 8 runners.

It's over 1200m and Godolphin's Shadow of Light heads the market for Appleby-Buick on 9/4.  The Lope de Vega colt has raced three times for two wins and a second.  Next is Powerful Glory, a Cotai Glory colt with Richard Fahey ad will be ridden by Oisin Orr – they are on 3/1 following a debut win but we are always a bit wary about second up.  Brian has raced seven times since May which is a lot for a 2yo.  We are leaning more towards Defence Minister on 7/1 – Al Jehani trains and James Doyle rides to Too Darn Hot product.
