We will look at Sunday's card in detail later and will concentrate on Saturday for the moment. It's a

funny card with two of the G2 races having fields of 4 and 5 runners.

The first of the Group races is the Prix Chaudenay with 5 runners. In France at present Gaily Game is

a short priced favourite and in England they like Shankardeh. We are going for Pacifique and the

supplemented Bernieres, on the basis that supplemented horses in France have a great record.

The Prix Daniel Wildenstein is slightly more competitive over the 1600m for the 3y+ and here

Godolphin's Rio de la Plata looks the goods at around 2.25 with Rajsaman on 3.0 and Royal Bench,

who often comes good at this time of the year, on 4.5.

The Prix Royallieu G2 over 2500m is down to only 4 runners and Shamanova is supposed to just turn

up at the track to win this. Miss Crissy has some friends at 2.25 but not a race to bet on.

The Prix Dollar over the 1950m sees the great Cirrus des Aigles after a second consecutive victory

here. He's a short priced favourite but you could put him with a couple of roughies - Desert Blanc who

is on the up and Nakayama Knight who is young but won more prize money than any of the others and

you should be able to get double figures for him.

The weather continues to be almost record breaking for warmth - 29 in Paris Friday with around 26+

expected on both days of the weekend.
