Keith Dryden will march an army the small distance between his barn and Thoroughbred Park’s course proper this Friday.

Up to 11 Keith Dryden trained horses could line up after 100 acceptances were released for Canberra's eight races this Friday.

In the day's feature, the TAB Federal (1600m), Dryden has entered Trooper Knuckle, Sky Diamonds, Offspring and Stratum Pride, with the latter an impressive winner first-up.

"We thought she was an each-way chance" Dryden said of Stratum Pride's chances prior to her win at Goulburn on the 3rd of October.

"I told the owners, if we ran a place we'd be really happy because she's going to take a lot of improvement and she has."

"She's still got a bit to go in her coat but the mile here on Friday suits her perfectly so I think she's going to be very competitive."

Dryden's remaining chances in the race include Offspring, a half-sister to Single Gaze, who broke through for a deserved victory two starts ago before finishing mid-pack in the TAB Tony Campbell Memorial Cup (1400m).

Dryden will also line up a three-pronged attack in the final event, the Congratulations Tim Olive Life Member Handicap (1200m) with Factoring Profit, Breakaway Week and Prometio Mas all engaged.

A couple of races prior, a high-quality open handicap has attracted 12 talented sprinters to do battle over the 1200m of the 25 November Canberra Community Chest Handicap.

Todd Smart's Kelvedon Road looks to have returned in brilliant order this time in after a strong victory in this grade at Wagga first up.

The son of Star Witness has a win and 2nd placing from three third-up runs and loves his home track having won two of his four starts at Canberra.
