Trainer Tony McEvoy is looking forward to giving his imported mare You Are My World her second Australian start at Wyong on Thursday.

You Are My World, a French-brd mare, runs in the LA Designer Homes Benchmark 74 (1600m) on the first day of the Wyong Cup carnival.
McEvoy is looking forward to seeing how You Are My World performs as he hopes that by this time next year she will be running in some of the major spring staying races.
At her first start for McEvoy, You Are My World rattled home from near last to finish eighth over 1400m at Warwick Farm on August 14.
“I am really looking forward to seeing her race over a mile at Wyong,” McEvoy said.
“The extra distance will certainly suit her.
“I was really pleased with that run at Warwick Farm and she will have learned a lot from that race about the pace of Australian racing.
“She is only lightly raced and still growing and maturing so she has not been nominated for any of the major staying races this year.
“However, hopefully this time next year she will be ready to show the potential that I think she has as a top class stayer.
“It is something we are looking forward to.”
You Are My World raced only twice in France for a debut second over 1600m at Maisons-Laffitte in October last year before winning over 1800m at Longchamp.
McEvoy saw her race in France and instigated her purchase as he believed she would be suited to Australian racing.
“I was impressed with her will to win and her head language,” McEvoy said.
“We made some inquiries, came to an agreement and she was certainly not an expensive buy.
“She is a gorgeous looking mare and will be a really striking individual when she has fully grown and matured.”
Tim Clark will ride You Are My World, one of several strong rides he has at the meeting.
Clark will ride three horses for Les Bridge and has an interesting mount for Taree trainer Bob Milligan.
Clark’s three rides for Bridge are The Artist, The Red Baron and Amazon, who was scratched from the Canterbury meeting on Wednesday to target the Wyong race.
His ride for Milligan is Slick Cookie, originally trained in Victoria by Robbie Laing.
She failed in two runs in Victoria before she was sent to Milligan and has since won at both her starts at Coffs Harbour and Taree.
Clark's rides on the second day of the carnival on Friday are led by the promising mare Unimpeachable in the $100,000 Mona Lisa Stakes.
