Flemington training partnership Matthew Ellerton and Simon Zahra have been fined $1000 due to a positive swab charge of Epic Saga at the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Tuesday.

Ellerton and Zahra pleaed guilty to the charge of presenting Epic Sage at the races with prohibited substance Clenbuterol in it’s system at Echuca on April 4.

Epic Saga has now been disqualified as the winner of the Tatura Cup and the placings have been amended with the Mick Price-trained Resistant now the winner.
