Leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller has entered seven horses for the 2016 Wagga Wagga Gold Cup.
The $150,000 Listed 2016 Wagga Wagga Gold Cup is run this Friday May 6, the highlight of Wagga Wagga’s two-day carnival.
Junoob is topweight for the 2016 Wagga Wagga Gold Cup under 60.5kg and is one of Waller’s seven entries.Waller has also nominated Index Linked, Weary, Beyond Thankful, Moriarty, Hawkspur and Dance of Heroes.
The 2016 Wagga Wagga Gold Cup drew 34 entries with other key nominees including Messene for Team Hawkes, Bold Sniper for David Hayes and Tom Dabernig, Reigning for James Cummings, Tremec for John Thompson and Adirondack for Shawn Mathrick.
