Winning Trainer: Anthony and Sam Freedman (foreman Steve Adams speaking)
On the way the race panned out: "To see the other horse (Sartorial Splendor) that was the other speed in the race miss the start a bit definitely helped.
"It was good that he could come back to Victoria, get to his favourite track, 1000 metres, and win again."
On whether he heads to the VOBIS Gold Dash next: "That'd be the option I'd say, but we'll just get him home and see how he pulls up, but that'd be the money to chase."
Winning Jockey: Daniel Moor
On the way the race panned out: "I was thankful that my bloke's a go-forward horse, green arrow forward, but I didn't want it any further today."
On the windy conditions: "It's really noticeable down the side, swirling around quite a bit, which probably didn't help my bloke.
"He wasn't aggressive, but he lacked focus at a couple of key points and I really had to ask him to get on with the job.
On the horse: "He's had a busy prep and quite a long prep, but he's super consistent, he's fast and races well on firm tracks."
