Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher, David Eustace (assistant trainer Jack Turnbull speaking)
On the path to victory: "She got in an awkward spot but Harry rode her really well.
"Obviously she found a passage somehow and let down as good as you could have hoped. It was just good to see her get the victory."
On her pet trip and her attitude: "I think we'll keep her to six (furlongs) for now. Lucy (Yemans), Dave and Ciaron down on the Peninsula have got her sorted out in terms of keeping her fresh. She doesn't gallop a lot and she seems to respond well.
"She's pretty cantankerous at home, she's moody at times and she is hard to manage, but today was her day."
On whether she could head interstate: "She does handle soft going, I know it's dry as at the moment, but I think travel interstate is probably on the agenda."
Winning Jockey: Harry Coffey
On having to run down In The Boat: "I thought he's been a bit below par of late for his own efforts, In The Boat, so when I had him in my sights I thought, 'I'll be able to get you', but he's a tough old bugger, isn't he? He's hard to get past.
"He fought really hard, but my girl, we had a really easy run down on the fence doing no work and manoeuvered our way into the clear and I thought I was going to get them, but he's a tough old bugger In The Boat and he made it a real fight.
On pre-race instructions: "We were actually talking about a maiden at Swan Hill tomorrow for most of it. I said, 'what do you want to do here?' and he goes, 'it's up to her. Sometimes she jumps, sometimes she doesn't, sometimes she's in the mood, sometimes she's not.
No offence to females out there, but that probably sums it up, doesn't it?"
On the fall involving Teo Nugent: "Thoughts to Teo and obviously the horse's connections that he was on.
"That looked a bit yuck and I was following Teo and it's amazing how racing works; if my filly had have jumped cleaner, which we would have liked to do, we could have been in his spot instead of a pair further back.
"That's the way racing goes, it's all about luck."
