WA Hall Of Fame trainer Neville Parnham is poised to produce his latest juvenile talent at Belmont on Saturday and if the Playing God colt follows in the footsteps of his sister he is certain to have a bright future in front of him.

September Born, a full brother to Group 1 champion and $1.7 million earner, Kay Cee, makes his debut in the WA Racehorse Owners' Association Plate (1000m) and Parnham thinks he has a genuine talent on his hand.

"He's come up well and is a nice horse," Parnham said on Tabradio.

"He's trialled up good in both preps and is pretty bomb proof at the moment."

Parnham's given September Born four trials across two preparations leading in, the most recent a close second to Repossession over 1000m at Belmont last month.

Repossession, a Sessions gelding for co-trainers Chris and Michael Gangemi, franked the trial form with a super win on debut in a Belmont mid-week encounter.

Parnham is keen to unwrap his latest prospect.

"He's pretty handy," Parnham said.

"He's obviously inexperienced as far as going to the race track on race day, but I think he's a smart horse.

"He'll only have one or two runs and hopefully be putting him away for the summer carnival.

"I think from what he has shown so far that he's got enough ability to suggest he can measure up in some of those better races.

"He has to do it on race day, but behind the scenes he's showing that."

September Born tackles 10 opponents on debut and jumps from barrier six for jockey, Brad Parnham.

Parnham thinks September Born will be hard to beat and punters agree.

He's currently the $3.30 Tab touch favourite, firming from $4.

God She's Sassy sits at $3.90 on the second line of betting.

Kay Cee retired three years ago with a record of seven wins and three placings from 20 starts.

Alongside her Group 1 triumph in the Northerly Stakes (1800m), she won the Group 2 Lee Steere (1400m) and three Listed races.
