Taylor Johnstone's brilliant run in the saddle continued at Morphettville on the weekend with her first metropolitan treble.
Johnstone has ridden seven winners from her last 42 rides, five of those coming in metropolitan grade, to sit sixth on the Metropolitan Jockey's Premiership with 12 wins for the season
Johnstone was on the board early winning with Arugamama, had success in combination with the Stokes stable when Kinetic Jewel was back to winning form before she added a second winner for the Andrew Gluyas stable when progressive mare Seeking Stardom score a dominant win in the last.
Seeking Stardom stamping her class after being caught wide throughout before she powered away to score a 3.88 length victory.
"It's a good feeling,'' Johnstone said of a treble.
"She (Seeking Stardom) put them away like they were nothing.
"She's going to be in for a really nice prep, especially as she gets over ground,'' she said.
It was also a memorable day for Murray Bridge horseman David Page when Wild Imagination returned to winning form for the first time in 10 months and her first win since departing the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable.
"That's my first winner in town, it's been a while coming,'' Page, who is a regular feature on the country circuit, said.
"We've had a bit of fun already, I thought she might be a little princess, but she loves the trips away.
"Maybe she can pinch another one,'' he said.
