Winning Trainer: John Moloney
Did he think he'd won the close photo?; "I've been here a few times with photo finishes and I thought I've won on the inside a couple of times and I've got beat, so I didn't know what to think but I had a little feeling we might have got it…just a little."
On the winning ride: "That's 10 out of 10 and a little bit more, we'll take it. He's ridden him well every time so well done by Dan."
On how he thought he was travelling in the run: "I had to give him a bit of yell just to say, 'come on mate, you've got to do something now to pick it up', but he did and he kept trying.
"A key factor was he had a go, it counts on the line out there, that's where we win."
On the horse's attitude: "He's enjoying it. The horse is a happy horse at home, he trains well and he's just happy to be out being a racehorse so we live with that."
Winning Jockey: Daniel Stackhouse
On how it played out: "He began nice enough, there was good speed generated into that first corner and I just couldn't go with them. I had to ride him to take the sit and travel well - which he does lovely, he travels lovely and you always think you're going a lot better than what he is because he doesn't find a lo off the bridle – but Billy (Egan) gave his a beautiful ride and we just followed him.
"It was just lucky I had the horse underneath me to pick up and go past him but I was a bit concerned when he pulled up when he got there.
"He definitely had a think about things and Paddy Payne's horses are pretty fit and hard to get past as well, but I'm glad he got the bob in.
Did he think he'd won: "I wasn't sure and I asked Bill too and he wasn't sure but very glad to get the cheque."
