"That was very exciting, it was lovely to see her back. We went to Adelaide and things didn't quite go to plan at the barriers, which was very exciting. But it's great to have her back in form two weeks out from her grand final."
Easy watch: "That's why Harry gets paid the big money. He's got a lot of confidence in this filly and they're a good team, they work well together. Once she got through that gap, she was fabulous."
Heading to the Sunlight in the Widden slot: "I'm excited, Widden was in Sunlight and now for Anthony [Thompson] to show faith in this filly, it showed that he has good judgement. Wouldn't it be a lovely result if we could win the race named in honour of our great filly?"
Great demeanour: "She's got some feistiness about her, but she handled herself beautifully today and she loves it up here. Toby Edmonds and his team have looked after her beautifully for us."
Winning Jockey: Harry Coffey
"It worked out well, good barriers help good horses. She's got into a recent habit of not being the most patient in the gates and playing up a little, but today we had her in a good mode and she broke nicely. The horses to my inside and outside made the speed, so I just had to switch her off and get her into a nice rhythm. It wasn't that difficult tactically from then on in. The only thing I had to think about in the straight was whether to zig or zag. I was going to stick hard to the inside, but then I noticed they weren't really rolling off the fence. There wasn't much pressure from the outside so I was going to pull her out, but then a gap opened up inside which made me look good. When they travel like she does and are better than their opposition, they make your jb very easy. "
Heading to the Sunlight: "She's got a fair way to go to get to her levels, but it would be awesome for the McEvoy team to have a runner in that race. She tries that hard and puts herself in a position, so I'm sure she'll acquit herself well."
